INFORMATION ABOUT FIRST THURSDAYS
The first Thursday of each month, shops on the hip and historic South Congress Avenue keep their doors open until 10 p.m. (and later in some cases), playing host to a huge block party that features an array of events, activities, and live music, sometimes offering snacks and beer and wine to customers. Along the street, a variety of merchants and artists sell their unique wares, with the epicenter being the 1700 block in the lot between Vespaio and Austin Art Glass.
It's a great opportunity to come out and get to know South Congress Avenue, or to re-visit time and time again.
